Whisky Choice for Jim’s 60th Birthday Party Celebration

By Jim • Aug 17th, 2010 • Category: Jims Tales

Can you help?

On the Saturday the 4th of September, Whisky Boys Jim will be 60 years old and will be celebrating with a party for family, close friends and neighbours.

Almost everything has been arranged, invites sent out, buffet selection done, wines, beers, lagers, ciders and soft drinks organised, but Jim has a little problem, as all the Whisky Boys will be in attendance together with approx another 6/7 Whisky lovers, what drams will he be offering?

Jim has already decided on 5 bottles that will be opened and they are:-

Black Bottle Blended Scotch 70cl

Dewar’s 12 Year Old Special Reserve 1 litre

Ardbeg Rollercoaster Single Islay Malt 70cl

Connemara Peated Irish Single Malt 70cl

Balblair Vintage 1997 Highland Single Malt 70cl

Jim was wanting to open 6 bottle one for each of his decades, so can our readers look through “Our Whisky” section and suggest the sixth bottle to be opened and why.

Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions.
