Well, the three Whisky Boys got around Jim’s dining room table for the tasting of this Single Malt and they were joined by Lee Madigan our guest taster for tonight.
Lee is a retired Navel Officer and loves to enjoy a dram or two with friends and family.
So on this Tuesday night (June 15th 2010) we had everything ready, water jug, oatcakes, 85% cocoa chocolate and our enthusiasm for enjoying the best of Scotch Whisky.
From our Whisky tastings you will see we are not strangers to The Glenlivet.

Lee’s Tasting

Taste…Spicy with herbs,
Finish…Medium, tasted nicer.

We all seemed to enjoy this dram except Lee, she was not too impressed by this Glenlivet, on the other hand all the Whisky Boys really enjoyed this wonderful Speyside.
The good thing is that the Boys have a few other expressions from Glenlivet, so look out for these up and coming tastings.
Whisky lovers out there may find it a bit difficult finding this braw dram, but do check out your specialist Whisky shop or go on line.
