Malt Whisky and Scottish Scallops.
This can be for six as a starter or three/four for a main meal .
Ingredients

24 hand dived scallops
2 tbsp good olive oil
knob of butter (unsalted)
3 tbsp double cream
4 tbsp of good Whisky (we suggest Highland Park Scotch Malt Whisky)
6/7 baby leeks
seasoning (salt and ground black pepper) to taste

Bowmore Whiskey - Best Buy 27th October 2008

I have found another good buy, Bowmore Legend a nice Islay Single Malt.

It was by sheer coincidence that I was once again perusing the shelves of Whisky in Linlithgow’s Sainsbury’s and I found that this store was selling a standard bottle ( 70cl ) of Bowmore Legend Whisky for only £16.99.



Malt Whisky Bon Bons

Malt Whisky Bon Bons
Ingredients

225 grams Dark Chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
150 ml Scottish Double Cream
50 ml of Scotch Whisky (you can use an Islay Malt for smokiness or even Drambuie for a little more sweetness)
120 Icing Sugar
Cocoa Powder to coat the finished bon bons
