Whiskey Recipes - Whisky Salad Dressing

Whisky Salad Dressing
Shake all together well in a jar and pour over salad.
1/3 cup Whisky (the Whisky Boys would choose either a Glen Moray or a Dalwhinnie).
1/2 cup olive oil (extra virgin).
4-6 tbsp good quality balsamic vinegar.
1/2-1 tsp brown sugar.
1/2 salt.
1-2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme .
1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper.

Whiskey Recipes - Whisky Mayonnaise

Whisky Mayonnaise
Ingredients
* 300ml of good quality mayonnaise
* 4-5 tbsp tomato ketchup.
* Good shot of your favourite Whisky (the Whisky Boys would choose either a Glengoyne or an Auchentoshan)
* Pinch of cayenne pepper

Method
Mix all the ingredients together an use as you would normally use a mayonnaise.
Great over fresh crisp iceberg lettuce.

* 1 pound beef mince
* 1/2 pound pork mince
* 1 medium red onion diced

Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Gold Signature Blended Scotch Whisky

It was several days ago when we received an e-mail from James Brown of Richmond Towers Communication Ltd., London and he asked if the Whisky Boys would be interested in doing a tasting of a Chivas Regal 18 year old blend. Well it took all of a micro second for us to reply saying we would love to and no sooner said and done than a parcel arrived containing two sample bottles of the 18 year old dram.
