Welcome to the Whisky Boys

Firstly let us wish all you Whisky lovers out there a very happy and prosperous New Year (awrabest).
This new year we hope will bring many a new and exciting adventures for the Whisky Boys, let me detail some of the events we have coming up.

As usual we will be having many whisky tasting session both at Jim and Dougies wee hooses and maybe we will introduce an on the road Whisky tasting session or two.



Dewar’s 12 year Old Special Reserve, Blended Scotch Whisky

This month there was no competition for blend of the month, we tasted this Whisky earlier and you should read Dougie and Jim’s report on Dewars Whisky.

There are many other things to say about this blend that was not said in our tasting review, such as Dewar’s only use the finest of Scotch Whiskies at their peak and somehow or other makes them better.

It is early evening and for a change we decided to taste and review Dougies favourite Blended Scotch Whisky. Dewar’s 12 Year Old Special Reserve, Blended Scotch Whisky.

This blend is the creation of the master blender Tom Aitken, (only the sixth master blender in Dewar’s history) he surely knows what he is doing, and that’s for sure.
