This has been a true treasure find.  While checking out the Whisky shelves in Sainsbury in Linlithgow, I saw the boxed bottle of Cutty Sark Whisky, blended malt on sale, original price £20.99 reduced to £11.00.

A MASSIVE SAVING OF £9.99

What a bargain !! and I was then overheard saying out loud “Oh you beauty”.

At this price it was comparable with supermarket own label ordinary blended Whisky so it was essential that quite a few of the bottles made their way into my trolley.

One for Jims cabinet, one for Dougies bar and one for the future Whiskyboy tasting sessions.
